YOUTH BIAS TASK FORCE STUDENT ART EXHIBIT
NJ Division on Civil Rights partnership – Featured exhibition for this year’s ART ALL DAY / CICLOVIA event.
September 18 – October 9, 2021
In 1945, New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination became the first state-level civil rights statute in the country. The Division on Civil Rights is charged with enforcing this law, and with preventing and eliminating discrimination in the state of New Jersey.
Youth Bias Task Force
The winning designs were announced on April 28th, during the 75th Anniversary of the LAD event. Winners’ designs will be used in a multimedia campaign to encourage residents to #StopTheHate in NJ and have the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion to share their experiences with hate, stereotyping, and bias, and what they think we should do better!
This exhibition, in partnership with ARTWORKS, showcases racial justice art pieces across four categories.
