The breaking barriers mural
A landmark project commissioned by the Mercer County Division of Culture & Heritage (MCDC&H) and located on the historic Cass Street Prison wall.
This project was a collaborative effort led by seven talented artists from the Trenton area, who brought to life a vision of art as a powerful force for connection and community-building.

SIGNS TO FIGHT THE FLOOD
Global warming has accelerated extreme weather events and many communities around the world are dealing with the destruction. And from these events coastal and urban flooding has intensified. The artist Harun Zankel worked with Artworks, The Watershed Institute, The Department of Environmental Protection, and the NJ State Council on the Arts to create a series of hand-lettered, collaged signs in an effort to inform citizens about the dangers of coastal flooding and how to manage the risks.
Trenton Artwalk

The Trenton Artwalk is a collaboration between Artworks, the City of Trenton, and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. This project is dedicated to improving and beautifying the pedestrian/cycling route between the Trenton Transit Center and Downtown Trenton.

We humbly ask for your feedback by completing this brief survey to help us prioritize needs and create a plan that best serves the local community.
