The Power of Heart – Vincent Bush

February is the month connected to love and in celebration Artworks Trenton welcomes “The Power of Your Heart” solo exhibition by artist, Vincent Bush. Vincent, also known as “VCAB,” has been creating art since 2012 as a graphic and mixed media designer. His work begins on a Mac in Adobe Illustrator, but he also enjoys bringing his art into “real life” on canvas and wood, using spray paint and paint markers.
VCAB creates art that is all about love. He believes the heart is the universal sign for love and no matter what culture, religion, color, or walk of life you belong, you can recognize that symbol and for what it stands for. As a result, he is motivated to create heart designs and continue to remind people about this key ingredient in life.
“The Power of Your Heart,” exhibit is meant to remind its audience that love is a powerful tool. It is something that is experienced in many different ways. Love is not always hugs and kisses, but can also be hard, sad and confusing. Love can also be transformative. Love can be everywhere and in everything we do.
The exhibit will showcase both his mixed media and graphic design works in the Community Gallery at Artworks Trenton. The two biggest pieces in the exhibit are both 3 by 4 feet, on wood. His graphic designs will be displayed in 11×14” and 18×22” frames. Each piece of art has the theme of love in it, with at least one heart depicted in the work. VCAB will also have a simple but meaningful community art project during the opening reception in which the attendees will be asked to take part. He asks you to bring an open heart and creative mind.
