16-year Trenton resident. Craig Shofed was introduced to Artworks in 2007 and has been involved with the organization ever since. In 2011 after Craig’s 2nd kidney transplant he decided to quit his job in IT and become a full-time artist. Creating work under the name C.a. Shofed. In 2018 Craig became an Artworks board member and eventually became Managing Director of Artworks.

Addison Vincent is a freelance artist and curator from Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He studied art history and business administration at the University of Hartford and began his art career shortly after graduating with honors in Visual Communications from Gibbs College in 1999. Addison has completed many works on a commission basis for both private parties and businesses, stage productions, and short stories, while presenting his original works in galleries across PA, NJ, and NY. In his role as Gallery/Artistic Director, he selects and coordinates the exhibitions in the ARTWORKS TRENTON galleries, including gallery programming at the annual Art All Night and Art All Day events.

Nasir J. Square is an artist born and raised in Trenton, NJ. A predominately self-taught, multi-disciplinary artist with focus in fine art and graphic design. Some of his latest Partnerships include two solo exhibits (Trenton, Philly) and continued brand development with local designers (fishbowl, Parkway)as well as a previous short stint as a storyboard editor for CKS magazine(online). Newly named the community outreach and education coordinator for ArtworksTrenton it is his hope that in collaboration with this community staple organization more resources and access can be allotted for the people. As an artist Nasir has two missions, one being the communal elevation of political consciousness amongst the oppressed working class. As well as the fostering of art not for its monetary possibilities but it’s human ability to empathize, experience, and shape worlds of old & those to come.

Jonathan Conner (LANK) is an artist, designer, and educator from Trenton, New Jersey. A graduate of the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, LANK is the Public Projects Manager for Artworks Trenton focusing on community-based art installations. LANK is currently studying the intersection of public art and social justice/equity as a graduate student in anthropology at Monmouth University. He is a founding member of the city beautification non-profit S.A.G.E. Coalition and has been working with Artworks Trenton on public projects and community events since 2008.

Tishara is a graduate from Cairn University, where she majored in Community Arts and minored in Social Work. Tishara was Artworks first intern in the Fall of 2022 and is now serving as our Marketing Coordinator. In this role, Tish promotes the community values, artists, and programming that make Artworks one of a kind.

Rafeya Khan is a poet, writer and photographer. She is inspired by the metaphysical; the meeting of physics and philosophy -in particular, time, space, and dimensions beyond those perceived. Her works center around capturing the energy of the present moment. She is passionate about Artworks and the energy, sense of community and possibility that it brings to Trenton, Mercer County and the art world as a whole.

Nayette is a self taught artist who mainly focuses on digital art but has fun painting with acrylic. Wanting to be more involved in the art community in Trenton she volunteered at Art All Day in 2023. Since then she’s been interning at Artworks while trying to build up her art skills.
