curated by Artworks Exhibits Director, Addison Vincent
These are peculiar times. Society is at a standstill as we socially isolate ourselves. Things we take for granted, like social gathering, really come to light as we quarantine in our homes. We are social creatures who need to be around others. When it comes to art, the impact is felt when we cannot go to museums, galleries, or freely explore art in person.
For artists, this is a double edged sword. On one hand, our normal avenues of exhibiting our art are stifled by the closing of galleries, and public spaces. On the other hand, we have much to ponder, and plenty of fuel and time to create art.
This first ever virtual exhibition showcases those works of art which the self isolation has helped manifest.
ARTWORKS WILL NOT BE HANDLING SALES FOR THIS EXHIBITION. We believe it is important for artists to maximize their funds during these trying times. We are waiving our normal commission for sales, and making the sales direct with the artists. If you are interested in purchasing any of the works in this exhibition, please contact the artist directly so 100% of the sale goes to them.
*PLEASE NOTE: All images in this exhibition are subject to copyright laws and may not be used, copied, or reproduced in whole or in part without the expressed written consent of the individual artists.
