Paper Sculpture Wonders

Paper sculpture is a new art that originated in China in the 1990s.  Folded paper triangles are used in this unusual sculptural art to create finished

works through intricate design techniques.  Both time-honored Chinese culture and new American  influences have affected my perspective on the world.  Paper sculpture allows me to capture and express the beauty around me.  What I see in the world finds expression in the form of paper sculptures.

The scenes around me provide material for expressing the fantasies of my mind in the form of tactile objects. My inspiration comes from the

natural world and from objects in other media. I can feel them calling to be created in my distinctive medium.
