Clifford Ward: Vessel Making Workshop

Free introductory course | March 29 | 1pm – 3pm

Be inspired by I’ll Make Me A World, the plogue (currently on display) and build individualized vessels by learning various introductory techniques using plaster bandage as the primary medium; balloons (as mold), cups (connection between vessel and base) and Styrofoam disc to make the bases.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of using plaster bandage by creating their individualized vessel. This will be a 2-hour session where vessels are constructed and assembled. Handouts will be given to guide participants independently on finishing techniques using either acrylic paint or shellac and brown wax.
