Trenton Public School Biennial Student Art Show 2012

 January 20 – February 25, 2012

Opening Reception: Friday, January 20, 2012   4–7pm

Workshops:  A series of 4 Saturday workshops will be held at the Trenton City Museum in the Ellarslie Mansion in Cadwalader Park for children 8 to 12 years of age from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Origami Architecture February 4, 2010 (Ken Wilkie) – Invented by a Japanese professor architecture these pop up cards use the traditional paper folding of Japan and have the 3D look of an architectural model.  Students will use their names, the name of a favorite team or any other word to make them stand up.

Valentines February 11 (Sue Dumas)

Impressionistic Paintings February 18, 2012 (Jessica Sassaman) – Students learn about the Impressionists and then create a watercolor landscape painting using depth and perspective.

Collage bookmarks February 25, 2012 (Diane Frascella-Bonanno) – Students will repurpose images and text from old books and magazines to make collage bookmarkers.
