Portrait Drawing: Focusing on Light & Shadow

The introduction to Portrait Drawing class is appropriate for beginner-intermediate level students.  Utilizing direct observation from a model and structured exercises, students will explore the fundamentals of portrait drawing including lighting, proportion, anatomy, and perspective. Registration is limited, so sign up early!

Suggested Supply List: 18" x 24" drawing paper pad, pen, vine & compressed charcoal, kneaded rubber eraser, drawing pencils (2B, 4B or graphite stick are all fine), variety of drawing material of your choice for experimentation- paper and drawing media are not supplied by Artworks. 

Please arrive 10 minutes early.
