Jeff Stewart

Board Chair

Residing in Trenton, Jeff is currently a supervisor in the Rutgers Department of Administration & Public Safety.  He is working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film, Television and New Media Production.

 

Danielle Bursk

Board Vice-Chair
Danielle is a visual artist who concentrates her practice mainly in drawing/painting and performance/video. She works as a consultant to local arts non-profits, specializing in administration and management. She holds a certificate in Non-Profit Management from LaSalle University’s Non-profit Center, a Masters in Fine Arts from Rutgers University and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Temple University’s Tyler School of Arts.

 

John Beck

Treasurer

A Trenton resident, working in a family owned local business, John has a BFA the Maryland Institute College of Art; Baltimore, MD.

 

Latarsha Burke

Latarsha earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree from the College of New Jersey and a Masters in Management from the University of Phoenix. She is currently employed with the NJ Division of Children and Families Office of Adolescent Services as a Program Support Specialist.  Her career has been dedicated to working with at risk youth, specifically in the Mercer County area.  Mrs. Burke also serves as the Executive Director for the Trenton African American Cultural Festival.

 

Celestine O. Chukumba Ph.D.

Celestine is a Trenton resident and president of InterSearchMedia an SEO, PPC, social media, web usability and website development, mobile and video internet marketing company.

 

Lehze Flax

A Trenton resident, Lehze, is the senior graphic designer for the Princeton Art Museum.

 

Brea Heidelberg

Brea is Assistant Professor of Arts Administration at Rider University. Her classes focus on how arts and culture intersect with international relations, public policy, and social justice. She is the Internship Coordinator and runs the professional development series within the arts administration curriculum. Brea earned her PhD in Arts Administration, Education and Policy from The Ohio State University in 2012.

 

Elissa Horan

A Trenton resident, Elissa is an art teacher at Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ.  She has a Masters of Education, with Highest Honors, from Columbia University Teachers College, New York, NY.  She founded a community group, Care Trenton, to help clean up the neighborhood streets. She regularly takes art to the streets of Trenton with her pop-up mural program, setting up easels, large boards and providing paint and brushes to anyone who wants to join in.

 

Eva Loayza

Eva is a Trenton resident and the Press Secretary to the New Jersey Assembly Democrats.  She serves as liaison between Assembly members and reporters and create messages to communicate Assembly Democratic views to constituencies. Responsibilities include writing press releases, op-eds, letters to the editor and speeches, as well as coordinating press conferences and media appearances.

 

Dave Navazio

David is the Executive Vice President and Founder of Gentell, Inc, responsible for the operation of the company including manufacturing, FDA compliance and product development. In addition, David Navazio has worked with the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL) and chaired the committee responsible for having the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) recognize advanced wound care products. The result was a Congressional change to the Medicare Coverage Policies (Section 2079) to not only recognize wound care but to provide coverage for advanced wound care products.

 

James Peeples
James, a Trenton resident, works in his family’s business A-Phase Electric Inc. and his own technology consulting firm, Peeples Choice Consulting.

 

Michael Rosen
Michael is President of Commercial Cleaning Corporation in Ewing, N.J. He is also active with the Trenton Rotary.

 
Stephen Slusher

Stephen is a patent attorney and Chief Legal Officer for a publicly-traded biotechnology company in central New Jersey. Previously he was a partner in an intellectual property law firm. The program will focus on practical considerations of copyright and intellectual property law for artists and creative entrepreneurs.

 

Peg Wreen

Peg is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Administration and Managing Director of Symphony Space, a multi-disciplinary, not-for-profit performing arts institution in New York City.  She has a Masters Degree in Arts History from the City University of New York, Hunter College.
